The Society of Chemical Industry Young Chemists Panel, supported by AstraZeneca, organised the National Undergraduate Online Poster Competition 2020, the eighth in this series. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the eighth edition of the National Undergraduate Research Symposium was moved to be a virtual poster competition held online. This was a showcase of the best undergraduate research in the UK in the area of synthesis, methodology, catalysis, supramolecular chemistry, physical organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and chemical biology.

The event ran from 16th June to 26th June 2020.
