The Society of Chemical Industry Young Chemists Panel presents The National Undergraduate Online Poster Competition 2022, sponsored by Alderley Park, AstraZeneca, Charles River, GSK, Sai Life Sciences and Teledyne ISCO.
We invite final year undergraduate students working in organic, biological, supramolecular, physical organic or medicinal chemistry to present their research in this online poster competition. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase research on a national stage to the academic and industrial communities. Prizes will be awarded for the best posters.

The last two years have seen excellent engagement with this online event attracting thousands of visitors from around the world and creating a buzz across Twitter and LinkedIn.

We look forward to seeing the high standard and wide range of research in its various forms that we know has been completed by undergraduate project students across the UK.

Event Details
- Students undertaking projects in organic, biological or medicinal chemistry and related fields are invited to participate.
- Students should be in their final year and based at a UK University.
- Students should submit a text abstract of their poster that will be used to select participants in the online competition. Please consider the audience of this event when preparing your abstract.
- Students should gain their supervisors' permission before applying to participate in the event, participation will be confirmed with the supervisor by email.
- The poster must be PDF format and portrait orientation. An "A" paper-size aspect ratio (1:1.41) is preferred.
- Audio commentary must be provided to accompany your poster, this should be 3–4 minutes long and in mp3 format.
- Prizes will be awarded for the best submission that will be announced at the close of the online event.
- Applications must be received before 6th June 2022.
- The outcome of the applications will be communicated by 6th June 2022.
- You must upload your completed poster by 17th June 2022.
- The event will run from 22nd June 2022 to 1st July 2022.
