SCI National Undergraduate Poster Competition

The Society of Chemical Industry hosts an annual symposium for UK undergraduate chemistry students to present their work on a national stage. During the restrictions of COVID, the symposium was mpved to be an online poster symposium on thsi website. This proved highly succesful and led to moving the event online - owing to the large reach and engagement.

SCI National Placement Student Showcase

This event is aimed at undergraduate students who undertake industrial research placements. The event presents an excellent opportunity for chemistry industrial placement students to present their work to a national audience, and to learn about what their peers in other companies are working on. The event was created in 2021 using this platform online but has transitionned to be an in-person event.

BMCS Postgraduate Symposium

This symposium is hosted by the Royal Society of Chemistry Biological and Medicinal Chemistry Sector. The event is run anually for PhD students and post-doctoral workers researching in biological or medicinal chemistry to present their work. This events-hosting platform enabled this important and sucessful symposium to continue through the restrictions of COVID in 2020 and 2021.
